I’ve taught a wide variety of classes, from Shakepeare surveys to critical theory to introductions to cultural studies. My overarching goal in all the courses I’ve taught is to give students the tools necessary to evaluate critical objects and to say something thoughtful about what they are or how they function. The vocabulary to talk usefully about interesting stuff is essential in all fields, not just the Humanities.

My Teaching Philosophy is located here.
